White Night at Sanderson Contemporary Art
New Zealand contemporary photography takes centre-stage in this
exhibition examining the selection, staging and editing in
photography that utilises found objects, people and spaces.
Encompassing a variety of approaches from both emerging and
established photographers, including Caryline Boreham, Kevin Capon,
Pault Hartigan and Jane Zusters, Found examines how
photography can transform the 'everyday' into fine art. The
exhibition is open until midnight with explanatory essays and staff
on-site to discuss the artists' practices and show themes - special
giveaways and drinks for White Night patrons.
