The Moving Image Centre (MIC Toi Rerehiko) has curated a superb
line-up of local digital film-makers' works:
A Glorious Morning - from the writings of
Maurice Gee
Eden - two strangers cross paths in the
beautiful setting of Bannockburn in Central Otago.
Salt and Vinegar - film maker Karyn Childs
shows her talented hand as she takes us back to the simplicity and
hardship of the formative years.
Va Tapuia - Samoan with English sub-titles.
Tusi Tamasese delivers a beautifully packaged short.
Day Trip - Costa Botes' screenplay (based upon
a story by Bill Payne) is a gem in the hands of director Zoe
McIntosh.
Beached - This film teams an inexplicable plot
with a highly improbable reality.
Tee Party - Director Michael Beran shows off
his talent in an unassuming tale of two insomniacs who meet on the
driving range in the middle of the night.
