In Handel with Care the Lautten Compagney
perform a wonderful concert of music from the operas and oratorios
of Georg Fredrich Handel and Henry Purcell. The programme includes
Handel's Rinaldo and Amadigi, and Purcell's
The Fairy Queen and King Arthur.

Handel with Care features melodies arranged for the
company's virtuosi in a way that deftly balances modern
interpretations with authentic historical performance on period
instruments.
Lautten Compagney will also be presenting Timeless as
part of the 2011 Festival programme.
The ensemble's uninhibited and infectious delight in
music-making ensures spirited entertainment and sensual pleasure
for audiences.
Lautten Compagney Berlin, celebrating their 25th anniversary in
2009, was founded by lutenists Wolfgang Katschner and Hans-Werner
Apel.
