White Night at Bath St Gallery
White Night is party night at Bath Street Gallery as sculptor
Louise Purvis creates sculptures to the music of DJ Johnny
Winter.
Festival goers can help make sculptures alongside the artist by
twisting and interlocking units to create the new System
exhibition at the gallery.
Louise Purvis' primary mediums are stone and metals and her
sculptures are part of the urban landscape of New Zealand. Her
public commissions can be seen in the Auckland Domain, Henderson,
the Olympic Park and the railway line in New Lynn as well as in
Wellington and Lower Hutt.
