White Night at Anna Miles Gallery
Amber Wilson's irresistible, eye-exercising abstractions are
charged by an encyclopaedic appreciation of centuries of applied
decoration.
Her paintings concoct fresh forms by tapping into everything
from high end modernism and 15th century tapestry to the
fascinatingly aggressive aesthetic hijinx of the 1980s Italian
Memphis design movement.
On White Night, 12 March, the gallery is open until 9:00pm and
the artist will be present.
